Visiting 2nd Tier Cities in China ~ Opportunities, Growth & Disconnect

Hey guys we really want to hear from all of you international entrepreneurs. Get at us, we love to share our experiences, but we really love hearing about YOURS. 

We have just returned from a trip to Fuzhou. Fuzhou is the capital city of Fujian province. This trip was one of our first in depth looks at the business and investment environment in a 2nd tier city. The trip was extremely informative and exciting to say the least.

In case you aren’t familiar with the concept of 2nd tier cities check out the few links below. China has 170 cities of 1 million residents, but only 4 of these are considered top tier. These cities of course are Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou and Shenzhen. However, the cities and consumers beyond the first tier cities truly represent the future of foreign development.
